Winter 2015 : Nazran and narrow spaces

He just like it there. These are among a few photos of Nazran in narrow spaces. Wherever we go, he will look for a narrow space and he will stand inside there for a while. All of us will wait patiently until he came out looking satisfied. His life is complete.

Winter 2015 : Moustache Straws

We just love novelty item!
It was hilarious watching them goofing around with fake Italian accent and talking gibberish the whole day with these moustaches.

Good neighbour

If you have been reading this blog, you know I have good neighbours. I know they will be there whenever I needed them, no matter how awkward my request is. This was last week:
Never in my life I AM SO HAPPY TO SEE THE C**KR***H in a plastic container. Nabil was so happy to get that thing for his science experiment the next day, he smiled in his sleep.

Yellow tape & Marker pen

We just finished packing clothes for flood victims (well, this was 6 weeks ago). I put away the yellow tape and the marker pen I use for labeling. He found it anyway. And I continue labeling.

SLUG!

Since we started having our vertical and herbs garden, snails and slugs have been a common visitor to our house. My landscape architect friend said it is a sign that I have developed a balanced ecosystem in my garden. Later, I should expect to have more ants, grasshoppers, butterflies and birds. Wow.

My kids love the snails and slugs but I cant stand looking at the slug. Geli ok. Lembik. Ada dua telinga lembik..euuw.. Recently I found one of them at our living room. These are the kids' artwork (and *cough* mynotetomyhusband *cough*) to mark the day the slug came into our house. lol.
My landscape architect friend's advise:
1.  Burn the soil before I use it since I bought a pre-mix soil with organic fertilizer. It might contains their eggs.
2.   Blend some garlics and a bit of water. Strain the water and spray it to our plants. To keep them off our plants. I think I need to spray my house with that too. lol.

Nutella in a bowl

When mama is busy in the kitchen and the elder brothers want to keep baby Nazmi from wandering around the house while they are watching their favourite show, they came out with a solution that works every time.

Put a spoonful of Nutella in a bowl and let baby Nazmi dig in.
Since it works every time and I will be screaming to find Nazmi coated in Nutella EVERY TIME, I have to hide the it somewhere else.

Now they gave Nazmi raisins. Better.

Two dead fish

My sister and her family went to Terengganu for nearly a week. She sent SOS WA in our family group, asking anyone to buy fish food for two tiger fish in her room. We have no idea she keep fish in her bedroom +__+

We went to buy fish pallet and after feeding the starving fish, we decided to pull prank on her (We = me, my mom and my kids). We started to draw.

I announced in the group that we found two dead fish in their room.
..
...
After a few seconds, I felt bad for my nephew and my niece. So I uploaded the photos of the dead fish.
LOL. My mom was very serious about the whole set up. I placed the dead fish on the bed, but she said....NO, the background have to be BLUE. The fish died in the water. She took a blue pillow and started to arrange the dead fish on it. "Make sure they look dead", she said while I adjusting the camera.

"OK".

Long and baggy clothes

One of the reasons why I always wear long and baggy clothes when we go out. It is Nazran's favourite hiding spot.

I JUST LOVE MY FRIENDS! - On Yellow Rubber Ducky

Baby Nazmi was having a fever last night and my concerned KAED friends were discussing and giving advise on the best way to keep his temperature down.

Boys will always be boys (on the left) and the innocents will always be... the innocents (on the right). Just like 12 years ago, in the studio. That's what I love about them.

One patient Atuk with Ben 10 and aliens

It is not easy to live in the same house with Ben10, Humungousaur, Spidermonkey and Swampfire because they have different superpowers and abilities.
It is more challenging when one of them has a mix of Swampfire and tiny Superman's DNA.

Take a break. LET'S HAVE SOME TEA

It's called baby mugging.

I came across one cute baby mugging photo on the net and suddenly found myself driving home during lunch hour to baby mug my baby. I will ask my photographer husband to set up proper set for more baby mugging photos.

Teach them some responsibilities

This was happened when I went out with my mom - this entry.

My dad have to take care all the kids - 10yo Haziq, 8yo Nabil, 8yo Sarah and 5yo Nazran. I brought Nazreen along with me. Knowing how handful they could be, I assigned them to a specific task, just to get them excited. One person in-charge of security (no one should open the front door), one person in-charge on food (in case Nazran is hungry) and the other one is on cleanliness (clean up the mess after they play).

When we came back, I noticed there were some changes on the tasks. They have appointed Nazran to be the AJK 5 tahun AT FIRST. Then, after a while, when he couldnt stop talking (yes, he is very talkative), they appointed him to be the Ketua Membebel.
I am not sure what is the scope of work for Ketua Membebel but I know Nazran has done a very good job.

Silly mistake

This was what happened at 2 am when I was preparing Nabil's new school books for both elementary school and sekolah agama. Instead of writing his name, I wrote my name.

When I said...

"Nazran, tolong atur mainan elok-elok!" (Please arrange your toys neatly!)
He said, "OK, mama". I came to the living room in the next 5 minutes.
I should've use the word KEEP / SIMPAN, instead of ARRANGE / ATUR.

On the way from my hotel (InterContinental Adelaide) to Adelaide Convention Centre.
