zoo again and again and again...

My hubby was kind enough to frame my ZOO drawing because my dear kids really love it. They learn a lot from that esp the meow-ing and roar-ing parts. Were looking for a thick white frame with a white board, but to no avail. So we just settled for the brown frame with a beige board. It actually looks good since the frame matches the road.

We hang it for a while at the living room so the kids could look at it everyday (wah, sudah syok sendiri ni). After my maternity leave, I will definitely bring it to my office.

The nyonya at the frame shop told me, "Wah... talented kid u got meh... U shud bring her to drawing competition anywhere lor..".. Ow, thank you, thank you. Now I am confused.

complicated life (dramatic, no?)

I am in the midst of completing a shades of green crochet blanket for my baby (I dont mention which baby, so, it would be fine if I complete it in another 2-3 years time, no?).

Am also trying to crochet a simple bootie (in case HE IS A BABY BOY). But…. There’s a problem tho. I couldn’t manage to crochet SIMILAR bootie for BOTH SIDE. One is perfect while the other will be *shorter*, if not *smaller* or senget or suddenly become square or totally ends up with different design (like, one without a button and another one suddenly got button *%&$&!!). **Lotsa trial and errors involved here**.

I don’t know why this time, SIMPLE thing seems VERY COMPLICATED. I had crocheted many other things before. No mistake in the calculation. Why…o…why…

Drawing Competition : ZOO

We had a drawing competition last Saturday (251008). There were six of us, - my eldest sister NO, my brother MI, me, my nephew HAZIQ, my niece SARAH and my son NABIL. My dad was the judge for this competition, carrying the theme ZOO. My mom was only a supporter. These are the entries (some of them are VERY ABSTRACT) and the last one is *ehem* the winning entry :o) - (it was actually disqualified because I finished it one hour after everybody completed theirs) - but win anyway...

enviro-pron / enviro-bib

My kids / nephew really insist to have their own Envirosax but they are too short for the bag. So, here it is... Sometimes it acts like an apron... and sometimes as a bib during meal time...

**green (baamaapaa) and black (mono fleurs) Envirosaxes in action.

Go GREEN is the NEW pink

Introducing ENVIROSAX... yeah... mye already have it :o)

I recycle, I do composting, I refuse to use plastic bag, I think before I buy, because I strongly FEEL I need to do my bit for the environment everyday. So, for today till next week, I will try to get as many people to buy the ENVIROSAX (just SMS me) because I'll be attending a course in Port Dickson, Malaysia and I can't do much for the environment when I stucked in the lecture hall for days...

I have not upload this in my online store. yet. Next week maybe. There are actually more, but ... mm... just make do for the time being. Need to prepare some gift sets now (Thanks Shahid for the order)..

KEYCHAIN!!

First of all, thanks Sej.
She emailed me 4 pics of Royal Selangor keychain (cum charm cum neck piece) and asked me to choose ONE design - it costs her a fortune, THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR IT. She is into pewter very much and she said leather was so yesterday... iya ke? sob...sob...

So, here they are... I choose the first one with my full name engraved :o) For my office keys.

I need another two ideas. Remember I need three? (view : keychain. IDEA PLEASE)

keychain. IDEA PLEASE.

I was keychain-less since 2000. I have trouble searching for the most suitable key chain design that reflects ME. Last time, i have those cuddly little stuffs (stuffed green dinosaur and a green mouse), but I dont think it is relevant now. Am a mom and a diplomatic officer. Stuffed dinosaur/mouse??? Hanging from my handbag?? Nah...

Then, i came across my old whale pewter key chain with a dashed of green *thing* (dont ask, really didnt know the material). Last time it was a hit. That too, i throw away. Come on... whale??

Then come key chains from all over the world with the word like "Birmingham" or "Dubai" or "Victoria Stat***" or "Korea" or "Fremantle" and many more... Well, I dont promote places/products for free, so, take those out too.

I dont know... Why we need key chain anyway? (dont answer). Where is the most suitable place to hang the key chain (key-la *duh*)... I have a very brutal fren who settle for tokitoki... and a Datin in my office have these big funky furry thingy as a keychain... Ironic.

Tolong bagi idea. I need three for my car/house/office keys. *Since I am into leather right now, I really think leather keychain will suit me the most... Ideas?? What type of design is IN nowadays?*. Or you could just buy a key chain for me. I'll use it.

Yours truly,
keychainless lady since 2000

of the journey

seeing the kids having fun in the car makes my exhaustion fades away... The last raya with two kids. Next year, there will be another baby seat in the middle (iya, MUAT, we've tried). Another *stressful* raya story to tell. haha... Nah, it was fun. Really. Thanks to my patience hubby. We went back to KL on the 3rd raya. We stopped by at Pulau Gadong, Malacca for the Meet Uncle Cepoi session. We have a safe journey home.

of relax second raya

We were exhausted (actually I WAS). We decided not to join the crowd to JB. From Kluang, we went to Batu Pahat for Nazreen's first bowling trip and trip up-and-down escalator for 8 times. It was a stressful day for Nabil, tho :o) He was frustrated with the longkang and keep asking why the ball likes to go in the longkang. But, he got strike once and couple of spares. Then, we move up for another night in Muar *tiring*

*i am 7++ months pregnant for God's sake!**

of first raya

This year we celebrate raya at my hubby's granny house @ Muar.

Hard to get a GOOD family portrait with two kids who prefer running around rather than wait for the cameraman to count... ONE ... TWO... THREE... Well, we tried. but to no avail :o) We went to MANY places last time (about 20+ houses in a day) but this year, the kids were pretty exhausted after 2 houses (and mommy wants some rest too), so we stayed back at Tok's house while others continue with their full-of-sugar journey.
Then, we went to Batu Pahat... and overnight @ Kluang. *tiring* - well, the cloth organizer seems to be a VERY GOOD idea at this point of time.

(Notice the small one changed 4 times???
) - it was actually 5 times. I missed the last one.

of raya prep

We got raya bottles for the kids (yes, accessories also have to be brand new... and BPA-free), now each have more than 10 bottles :o) We also did not bring any BALIK KAMPUNG BAG to kampung. One cloth organizer for kids and another one for mommy and daddy. Easier to dig in as to compare with bags. We left the organizers in the car and only took out neccessary stuff of the day (in the envirosax) because there are more than 100 peoples overnight in the house. We might lost our stuff (or kids) in that big crowd. .... And... let's not forget, long trip will not be completed without our platypus rehydration pack...

BOY

After I successfully delivered all PINK gifts (view : PINK season), I started to receive orders for baby boys... so, the BLUE season is finally arrived. Here are what I just delivered today and we have a list for delivery after raya. All for baby boy :o) so, it is true, there is a season, huh?

classic

2006 : Papa and Nabil bonding moment

DRIPSTIK 101

These are the benefits of using Dripstik..
(i) I don't have to stay there and hold the ice cream for the lil guy

(ii) He can learn how to feed himself and hold the dripstik properly

(iii) He can put (or leave) the ice cream anywhere he wants and take his own sweet time to finish it

(iv) No puddle in the house - I only have to clean his face.

** but it only happens like... once in two months.. (??).. I dont like the idea giving sweet stuff to my kids, but somehow, dont forget - there are atuks.. and nenny who really like to see their cucu happy with ice cream once in a while...

Crochet Cell Pouch

My kids really loveeeeeeee to play with my cell : they slide it endlessly until it kinda loose : they dialled any number they want and they like to throw it here and there... So, I have to spend a fortune to repair it last week. Am too attached to my cell and I refuse to buy a replacement for it.

So, i made this crochet cell pouch (am using a 50g thread to give extra cushion) in about 30 minutes flat during lunch hour (yes, I have a ball of yarn under my table) and guess what... it solved all problems!! They can't slide my cell anymore because it is hard to get the cell out of it : they cant punch any button they like anymore because i only left the screen open.. and they can throw it here and there (but not too much) because it was cushioned :o)

Tot of doing it in different colours to suit my attire everyday. Cool eh? Kids can actually strike our creativity in a very irregular way.

heavy downpour

It has been a very tiring week. I have to juggle between works, family and err… exams. I could manage to answer those papers although the first question sounds like this : “List down the details of United Nations Nuclear Weapons Convention”…. Easy, huh? The study period is the most torturing part. One day, during a very heavy downpour, I asked my husband to take care of the kids for one hour or two because I need to study. This is what happened (actually I was on my way to get something to eat downstairs)… All of them were caught red-handed. Especially the GURU. (and... ok... I joined them afterwards)...

new one

due to a high number of vote for me to buy the new one... well... OKAY, I'd bought the new digital camera yesterday. cute silver-blue camera. Thank you for voters out there. You guys really helped me this time (since I am the one who vote for RM300 REPAIR).

I will update my e.commerce website in September. And I will introduced some new irresistible products for newborns... esp baby girl :o) Since I can feel I am carrying another baby boy, I tailored my product to also suit baby boy.

Before end of this year

Regardless how busy I am, juggling between my international affairs work, handling my company, being a pregnant mom with two sons, a wife and a (lazy) daughter, I still have time for daydreaming. But I never left my daydreams to be only A dream. These are some things that I wanted to do and hopefully, to be achieve before end of this year :

(i) Enter the English Quality Essay Competition at my office. and win the first prize.
(ii) Write (and publish) a book on breastfeeding in MALAY *this is going to be HARD** because there are lots of excellent resources in English but none (that I know of) in Malay. That's why Malay nowadays still have many taboos when it comes to breastfeeding...
(iii) Rent a retail shop for our company.
(iv) Update our e-commerce website that has been abandoned almost a year.
(v) Formulate an international affairs policy for my agency.
... will add later. These are already overwhelming.

This is what I've already done (already indicates an achievement) :
(i) I already have 15 words (plus the tajuk). Out of 3000 words.
(ii) I already have ONE PAGE.
(iii) Got the shoplot but still considering it *financially*.
(iv) Emm... nothing much I can do without digital camera. (repair RM300, buy the new cheap one RM499 - pls vote).
(v) I have the framework... but.... (okay, this one is for the next year).

Corporate Club Annual Dinner : Black and White

We had a Corporate Club dinner some times ago (Friday Nite). I won the best dressHonestly, I didnt see it coming at all because everybody looks good that night! My superior won the same award for male category (because he took a half day off to did his hair and went for facial treatment) *haha**..

The rest of the members just took a shower at the office and went straight to the Puteri Restaurant for the dinner... the theme was black and white. Sounds dull and I didnt vote for that theme. ANYWAY, IT ACTUALLY TURNED OUT VERY WELL! Black and white are a classy combination. Kudos to Azura for being the dinner director.

I also won the lucky draw - that's what they called it. (It was actually an exchange of gift because everybody have to buy something for someone else). They only draw the number... Here are the gifts for the nite... I went there with Nazreen only because my husband was pretty occupied with his work at the office and Nabil was asleep.

WATER CONFIDENCE

Last weekend, we went for a holiday at Bukit Tinggi. We just want to relax2 a bit, but with kiddos running around, everywhere, it was more tiring than relaxing. The best part was at the swimming pool. After intensive training at Tiara and Ulu Yam every week, we lepas the budak2 in the pool for water confidence training. The kecik one is extremely excited to see the pool. He joined his brother and cousins to do the kicking exercise... then, he jump2 into the pool whenever we take him out of the water. And... yup, they had a fever today.

BIG THINGS

I have big things coming up with my business (which remains secret until...err.. the right time)... But before I could start doing work for it, I have to wait for my brother to come home. He is in Spain right now. He is my advisor for everything. Without his advise, I kinda like AFRAID to make any major move. in business.

D-P-A

I was a director for exhibition during our final semester for DPA course. It was supposed to be the highlight of the 6 months (but I really not satisfied with the outcome due to lack of manpower and time). Anyway, this is actually my favourite element of the exhibition (my fault for focusing MOST OF MY TIME on this big blocks). This was during the preparation. Really appreciate helps from my frens... Burn and Basit. The rest who are not appear here. Thank you to you too...

This is the final look (well, it supposed to be 2/2005, but at last minute we changed to 2/2006). Yup we made that huge butterfly as well because we chose the theme of EVOLUTION.

The FINAL NIGHT after the closing ceremony, we had our farewell supper somewhere in TTDI, to celebrate our bitter sweet moments together. I bring along the letter (it took TWO cars to transport THREE letters). And it ends up like this... I am the one ON A.

I really loves those blocks especially the A because it was the first TRY and it succeed. I made it myself.... So I decided to bring it back. This is what happened...

A-ha! Caught In The Act

This is what happened when I wasn't around. Nabil will try to breastfeed his brother. Usually he will take up his shirt.

shoes museum 01

My husband has an obsession towards kids'/babies' footwear. He could spend a fortune just for a pair of tiny shoes (i really avoid Adidas boutique for the time being). I don't quite agree with his shoe obsession, but.. sometimes I do like it when they have particular footwear for particular occasion. Since our kids have quite a number of footwears, we have created online album (or we call it shoe-museum) to refresh our memory on the collection, so that we didn't left any shoes unattended (is this the right word?) for a long time. For my husband, kid should look smart, not cute. Notice we didn't have any shoes with bear or mickey mouse or any other kiddie icon?

lonely

Pity.

No one to play with.

This is why I decided to have the 2nd one.

(nahh... I love being pregnant and WE love to have as many kids).

NABean

My son (Nabil) have a thing about Mr Bean. He made me do this and make it as my wallpaper. He is very happy everytime I turn on my laptop. (This is when he undergo a treatment for KUTU - he got it from the nursery - but now, the kutu is gone)... He seems so bulat in this photo *lol*.

Kutu = lice
Bulat = err.... round?

BABY BUMP

yes.. the third one :o)
Am happy with it but I have trouble telling others the good news (why? > http://toilful.blogspot.com) - if it didn't appear sooner, it will be LATER. It took us two months to find a way to tell my parent. And almost four months to tell HIS parent. And GOD knows when I am gonna tell my colleagues. haha... guess they'll find out soon as I couldn't hide my baby bump anymore. *lol*

confession.... about the centrespreadsss

I have a confession.... those in YELLOW is ME. Most of the photos is from my digicam and I received the rest at a very last minutes. So, I am sorry for the many-many times my face appeared there. Others, just to freshen up my memory on my participation in every event held during DPA. I involved in one after another projects until nak termuntah buat montage, backdrop, invitation cards and you name it.... non-stop.... but, i enjoyed it, tho.

I still feel bad for unable to deliver for Deeparaya event (sorry BURN). Mental block. A very severe one. I cant event design a single thing for two days. Just imagine.
